One of the school buildings at Kasokwe Primary School, Uganda was in an extremely poor state of repair. Using a team of local builders, the AV Foundation funded a project to renovate the building including reconstructing demolished gable ends, repairing broken parts of flooring, plastering, constructing and installing four windows and a door and shutters for the classroom block.
Completed in November 2014, our most recent gap year volunteers were there for the inauguration. The block should now stand strong for many years to come!
