Overview - Africa and Asia Venture

Overview

Welcome + Briefing (2-3 days)

Welcome and briefing in Philippolis. A chance to get to know your AV group and explore your new home, whilst attending briefings on your project work, keeping safe, staying healthy, South African history and culture.

Project Work (Approx 33 days)

Living and working in the township of Philippolis, AV volunteers help with building, refurbishing school facilities, teaching and sports. Together with fellow AVs you will locally, with a project leader supporting you on a day-to-day basis.

Fun + Adventure (Weekends)

AV Volunteers will have weekends free to explore the local area or to participate in some adventure activities - it’s up to you!
