In-Country Mamas and Papas

Shirray is a bit of a legend in AV - a LOT of a legend actually!  She was born and raised in Townsville, Australia, and spent nearly 4 years as a tour leader, overlanding throughout Africa with her (now) husband, Peter ("PK").  They ended up managing the famous Speke Camp at Bujagali Falls, where they started to meet a few AVs.  In 2002, she and PK set up what they describe as "the world's best quadbiking safaris" on the banks of the River Nile ('All Terrain Adventures')  and in 2003, Shirray became our main Uganda representative.  She is seldom seen without Miss Winkie (her miniature mud-coloured terrier - supposed to be white!) and, more recently, Miss Betty Blue (a Rotweiler puppy) - Miss Winkie's in for a shock!
