Making a difference in South Africa

South Africa was one of the most amazing experiences; I had an absolutely incredible time, and experienced things I thought I never would. The children and community really did make my time there worthwhile and gave me the biggest feeling of achievement. The people of the village were all so friendly and welcoming; it really struck me though that despite having absolutely nothing they were so happy and full of hope. We have the ability to do our own bit to advance mankind, and realise how precious life is, AV really does give you the opportunity to make a difference and I honestly would jump at the chance to do it all over again.
