Latest news from the front - the January Kenya group have completed their orientation course and won the football match against Fish Eagle!

The group spent 5 days at the Fish Eagle Inn, on the shores of Lake Naivasha getting to know each other and completing the orientation course. The boys also took part in the traditional football match against Fish Eagle and our man on the touch line, John Riggs sent back the following report of an exciting game...

"Fish Eagle were 4-2 down with 5 mins to go but scored a 93rd minute equaliser to force penalties against a fading AV side who were beginning to feel the effects of the altitude. In fading light and the danger of hippos invading the pitch at any moment Will kept his head to slot home the winning penalty and spark scenes of unrivaled joy for the AV Team."

The AVs are all now in their schools and have just finished their first full week of teaching & sports coaching. The group are getting stuck into community life and getting to grips with the basic living - we'll be back more news soon!
