5 WEEKS VOLUNTEERING IN RURAL KENYA

If you’re looking to do something rewarding and fun this summer, the AV 5 week venture in Kenya could be for you…

The project combines rewarding volunteer work in a rural community with the chance to experience some fun adventure activities in East Africa - perfect for a summer holiday or a starting point for further travels on your year out.

Your 5 week volunteering project starts at Mombasa Airport, you will head to Diani, one of Kenya's most beautiful beach locations. Here our representative will brief and prepare you for time in Africa.

You will then drive further south to Msambweni, your home and project base for the next three weeks. Your community volunteer project will see you working in the village on some of the following:

• Constructing and renovating a village school.
• Teaching in local schools.
• Coaching sport in local schools. You might even organise a sports day.

A Kenyan project leader will accompany you on all tasks and your volunteer project work will be with the local people throughout. 

Then, you will enjoy 2 weeks of adventure and fun in East Africa - a wildlife safari, trekking Mount Kenya, white water rafting and more!

Finally, return to Nairobi for the largest BBQ in Africa,
and do some final shopping before heading off to the airport.
