How many miles to Nairobi - Africa and Asia Venture

Ellie Wagstaff kicked off her fundraising efforts for her Kenya Environment & Community volunteering project at a local Church coffee morning last weekend.

After deciding a cake stand wouldn't bring her much attention amongst all the other cake sellers - Ellie opted for a unique Africa themed stall!

With a fantastic competition for all coffee guzzling and cake munching attendees, Ellie asked the question - How many miles from Edinburgh to Nairobi? Any guesses?

First prize was an MP3 player, which got them all excited! Everyone was really generous, and those that didn't take advantage of her £1 per guess made donations anyway!

From a few hours work - producing a miles' chart and chatting to the locals, Ellie raised over £80 - well done Ellie! Keep up the good work!
