Have you recently graduated and are looking for work experience or something to enhance your CV?  Not sure if you want to go somewhere in a group or with a friend...or on your own?

Perhaps you want to do something really worthwhile before launching yourself into the job market or it may be your last chance to try and do some sort of travelling before getting that high-profile, well-placed position with your nose in the trough!!

3-5 Month Ventures

Get some real hands-on work experience or teaching experience. Volunteering will help you gain some skills and give you the time to get to know the place & the people really well. There are plenty of departure opportunities all over the world that may interest you in September/October, January/February and May. These are for graduates, students and those in the world of work - a real mix of 18-25 year-olds. We are always very careful how we place graduates on our volunteer projects and will try to match you with other graduates,
wherever possible.

You can opt to teach, coach sports or work on developing community, environment, conservation projects, depending on where you go and when.

Extra-mural activities such as music, art, drama and sport are incredibly popular everywhere.

All projects include an orientation course, a period of volunteering, and four weeks of independent group travel.

5 Week Mini Ventures

Not taking a whole gap year? Want to do something worthwhile but not for that long? During or after university? 

Much more than a holiday and long enough to give a real taste of the developing world.

Our 5 week Mini Ventures are community volunteering opportunities for anyone aged 18-25 who want a summer experience second-to-none. Volunteering with AV combines teaching, sports coaching and helping to renovate community schools in stunning locations, with lots of adventure and fun! This might just be the best summer of your life!!
