Gap year teaching in Mexico

You will live in a house with 4-6 other AVs, amongst relatively poor Mazuan Mexican communities, in traditional villages such as Santa Maria, San Francisco and Amanalca, some 100 kilometres west of Mexico City. Villages are centred round a small square and church and have a few local shops. You will teach colloquial English in both primary and secondary schools. You will enjoy a truly cultural experience and improve your Spanish too!

5-Week Short Venture in the Mexican Rainforest

In a group of up to sixteen 18-25 year-olds, you will volunteer in villages within the tropical biosphere rainforest in the Tuxtlas area of the Vera Cruz region. Living in one of the rural villages will enable you to enjoy and get to know the generous and cheerful people of the area. Work will include renovating schools or medical centres, and repairing or creating eco routes through one of the few remaining tropical rainforests in Mexico.
