AV Foundation reaches the World Wide Web - Africa and Asia Venture

Here at AV we are very pleased to announce that the AV Foundation has launched its website, http://www.avfoundation.org/.

A vital element for all that AV stands for, is the AV charitable arm - The AV foundation. Growing steadily since AV's foundation in 1994 and now aims to fund educational projects costing up to £10,000 each year in each of the principal countries to which we send volunteers. To date the AV Foundation has disbursed some £240,000 in total!

Next on the fundraising agenda is a two-week cycling expedition in India along the infamous Manali-Leh Highway led by AV Volunteer Alex Jack and his dedicated teammates. They hope to raise £5000 for six remote Indian primary schools.
