A Night of Love in the Barn! - Africa and Asia Venture

AV Volunteer Becca Watts, who is due to volunteer with AV from May 2010 in Uganda, has been a busy little fundraising bee!

A few weeks ago Becca organised a 'restaurant in our living room' evening where she invited 25 people over for a 4 course meal - all cooked by herself! Move over Nigella! She was able to raise £500 from this fundraiser which will help get her to Uganda to volunteer. She has another one planned for 2nd April. Becca's next big event is on 13 February - LOVE IN THE BARN - a special Valentines inspired evening. Some of Southwicks finest performers will join together for an evening of song and dance. The host for the evening will be local actor 'H' Reeves with special guest appearances from Karen Orchin and Melodie Joy Hornett, as well as children from the 'Drama Queens' Theatre School.

A Night of Love in the Barn will be held on 13 February from 7:30pm at The Barn Theatre, Southwick Street, Southwick. Ticket price includes finger buffet, and there will be a licensed bar and a raffle.
